Privacy Policy
For the game Hands Off! Snack Snatchers · Last updated 1 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you play Hands Off! Snack Snatchers ("the game"), published by Sticky Thumbs. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact details. Your scores and settings stay on your own device. The game does show advertisements and offers a purchase to remove them, and those services receive some technical information about your device.
Information stored on your device
The game saves the following locally, on your device only:
- your best score and level progress
- your settings, such as whether sound and vibration are on
- whether you have purchased the ad-free upgrade
This information is not transmitted to us. Deleting the game removes it.
Advertising
The game displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect technical information such as your device's advertising identifier, device type and operating system, general location inferred from your IP address, and how you interacted with an advert. We do not receive your identity from this process — only aggregate reporting such as how many adverts were shown.
You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings: on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, and on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Google's own policy explains their handling in full: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Purchases
If you buy the ad-free upgrade, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Your payment details go to them, never to us. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made, which the game uses to switch advertisements off.
Crash reports
When the game crashes, an automated diagnostic report may be sent to our error-reporting provider so the fault can be fixed. These reports describe what the software was doing — the device model, operating system version, and where in the code the failure happened. They are not used to identify you.
Children
The game is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.
- Remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the game.
- Write to us with any question about this policy, or to ask that data associated with your device be removed.
Changes to this policy
If the game's data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
