Privacy Policy
For the game Gubbara · Last updated October 7, 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you play Gubbara ("the game"), published by Sticky Thumbs. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
The game collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising of any kind, no analytics, no tracking and no purchases. There are two ways to play it, and this policy covers both:
- In a browser, at games.dresez.com. Once the page has loaded, the game makes no network requests at all: its code, pictures and fonts all come from this site. A few small settings are saved in your own browser, and they never leave it.
- The Android app, from Google Play. The app asks you for no permissions. The whole game is inside the app, it plays fully offline, and it sends nothing anywhere. The same few settings are kept on your phone.
Information stored on your device
The game saves the following on your device only — in a browser, in your browser's local storage; in the Android app, in the app's own storage on your phone:
- your best score
- how many runs you have played
- whether sound is on or off
This information is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. In a browser, clearing this site's data removes it, and a private or incognito window does not keep it after you close it; it does not transfer between devices or browsers. In the Android app, uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in your phone's Settings removes it.
Android backup
If your phone backs up app data — for example, Android's backup to your Google account — these three values may be included in that backup and restored on a new phone. That backup is your own and is handled by your phone's backup service; the game never sends, receives or reads it.
Playing with no connection
In a browser, after your first visit, the game stores its own files in your browser so that it keeps working without a connection. That copy is a copy of this website's files and nothing else — it holds no information about you, and it is removed along with everything else when you clear this site's data.
Loading the game
In a browser, like every website, the game's files are delivered by a web server, which necessarily receives your IP address and browser details in order to send them, and keeps a standard log of each request (see "Your rights"). The game itself sends nothing back. These pages about the game — this one included, but not the game — load their heading font from Google Fonts, which receives the same kind of request information when it delivers the font.
The Android app loads nothing from any server once it is installed. It is downloaded from Google Play, which handles that download under its own privacy policy.
Children
The game is made for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, children included. If you write to us by email, we use your message only to reply.
Your rights
You have the right to see the information held about you (access), to have it corrected (correction), and to have it deleted (deletion). For the game itself, all three are in your own hands, because the game keeps what it saves on your device and nowhere else. We have no account for you, no copy of your scores and no record of your play.
- Access. Everything the game saves is listed above under "Information stored on your device", and all of it is kept on your device: in your browser, or in the app's own storage. There is nothing about your play held by us to send you.
- Correction. The game stores no name or details about you, only game progress and settings that the game keeps up to date itself. Change your settings in the game at any time, or start fresh by deleting.
- Deletion. In a browser, clear this site's data in your browser settings. In the Android app, clear the app's storage in your phone's Settings, or uninstall it. Either removes everything the game has saved, except from any backup you keep yourself (see "Android backup").
Two things do reach us, and you have the same rights over both:
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, your message and email address stay in our mailbox. Ask, and we will send you a copy, correct it or delete it.
- This website's server log. When you visit games.dresez.com, its web server records each request in a standard log: your IP address, the time, the page asked for and your browser's details. We use it only to run the site and fix problems, and we do not share it. It holds no names or accounts, so the only way to find your visits in it is by your IP address: send us yours, and we will tell you what the log holds for it or delete it. The app never contacts this server.
To use any of these rights, or with any other question about this policy, write to fawaz_ahmed@live.com. There is no charge. Google Fonts and Google Play each handle what they receive under their own privacy policies, so ask them directly about that.
Changes to this policy
If the game's data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
